The Challenge
Bridge College supports students with complex special educational needs. Staff were drowning in paper logs, PDFs, and spreadsheets — new teachers could take months to understand a student's full history. Existing AI search tools weren't safe enough: they paraphrase sensitive medical records and return outdated information without warning.
The Approach
We built a multi-agent validation pipeline — seven specialist AI agents that check every answer for accuracy, freshness, safety, and consistency before it reaches the user. A Query Router classifies intent. A Document Analyzer understands content types. A Freshness Guardian flags outdated records. A Safety Validator enforces direct-quote-only handling for safeguarding content. A Cross-Reference Agent detects conflicts between documents. A Citation Builder creates verifiable source links. And an Orchestrator synthesises everything with full context awareness.
The Outcome
New staff understand complex student needs in minutes, not months. Record search time reduced by an estimated 80%. The multi-agent pipeline catches outdated and conflicting information that standard AI search would miss. Medical and safeguarding content is always quoted verbatim — never paraphrased. Multi-school rollout underway via branded subdomain architecture.
This changes how we support our most vulnerable students. Staff can now understand a child's full history before they even walk into the classroom.
